i.Dummy Part III: The ManniQueen

i.Dummy Part III: The ManniQueen is a newly developed humanoid robotic mannequin that can automatically change its size, shape and proportion three dimensionally via a computer-user interface by means of pre-loaded size charts or customized dimension input. Its main use is for the fitting quality of garments ,design assessment, training of pattern personnel, etc.

T94 Series

The T94 Series is available in various work sites as well as being used for welding or grinding operation. Provision of additional functions such as operational cumulation, alarm and timer necessary for the user’s operational situation and application of a Protective Cover of a curved surface to improve a Diffuse Reflection problem occurred on a conventional Protective Cover of a flat surface.

i.Dummy

The i.Dummy project was conceived 5 years ago by Dr. Allan C.K.Chan of the Institute of Textiles & Clothing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. This was done as dummies are vitally used in the fashion industry for design and fitting and they are often available in single size and shape. Even when they are billed as a certain size, their shape and physical profiles can be variedly different. Coupled with various differences of many ethnicities, the finding of a dummy that can adequately represent the “person” has remains difficult.

The Vinci

THE VINCI is a protocol analyzer and converter for applications requiring the highest versatility of physical serial communication interfaces. Industrial design of the device is inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's illustration “Vitruvian Man”, which represents the golden ratio of the human body. The elements are positioned so that they would prolong the lines of the drawn figure and create a perfectly ergonomic shape of the device, convenient to handle every day.
